BEDFORD (WSLS 10) - A woman is accused of luring a man to her home with a Craigslist.org post, advertising sexual services, and assaulting him when he arrived.
The Bedford County Sheriff's Office said Matthew Caruso told them he responded to the post and arranged to meet with a woman who called herself "Trinity" at 5330 Old Country Road in Bedford on Wednesday, July 22. He told deputies "Trinity" tied him up and assaulted him with a weapon before he was able to escape through a window and call officers for help.

Deputies said Caruso suffered numerous cuts an lacerations.
"Trinity" was identified as 22-year-old Jennifer Brandy-Mitchell, who was arrested at her home and transferred to the Blue Ridge Jail Authority, Bedford Adult Detention Facility where she was held without bond. She faces charges of malicious wounding, abduction and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Caruso was treated for his injuries at the hospital and released.
