MARTINSVILLE (WSLS 10) - City leaders are excited as renovations are near complete for the new The Henry Hotel.
City leaders said the total cost to purchase and fix up the hotel was $3.7 million. They said the hotel closed for financial reasons but are hoping this will eventually spark foot traffic in Uptown Martinsville.

The hotel has been transformed to 25 apartments with rent ranging from $700 to $900. Also, city leaders said there are three commercial spaces available.
A grand opening for facility will be July 29 at 11 in the morning.
