Whale of a time! Kids find novel way to beat the heat

Children visiting a Japanese aquarium discovered a new way to cool off when a playful beluga whale took the opportunity to hose them down with water.

It came as temperatures hit 94 degrees. Despite the heat, everyone seemed to have a whale of a time at the Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama.

Also known as melonheads or sea canaries, belugas are more used to the cool temperatures of Arctic regions.
