UPDATE: The right lane of southbound I-81 in Pulaski County opened around 9:30 a.m.
SALEM (WSLS 10) - Overnight work on the bridge at exit 94 in Pulaski County has been extended and will impact Interstate-81 southbound traffic until later Tuesday morning.

The right lane of southbound I-81 is closed between mile markers 95 and 93, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The work zone was expected to be removed by 6 a.m. but has been extended until approximately 10 a.m. to allow pavement repairs to cure properly.
