PASADENA, Texas (WSLS 10) - A police officer in Texas became a hero for one little kitty, and the rescue was caught on tape.
Officer Alberto Galvan said he heard the kitten crying above him on a highway overpass. When he went up to check, he found the kitten stuck between drain openings and reached down to grab it.

But the kitty didn't feel like being rescued and began scratching and clawing.
When the officer lost his grip, the kitten fell to the other side of the barrier, requiring a second, successful attempt.
The kitten was taken to the Pasadena animal shelter.
