U.S. Marshals offer up to $5,000 reward for information to locate missing teen

(WSLS 10) - The U.S. Marshals announced it will offer up to $5,000 for information leading to a missing teen from Tennessee.

Meanwhile, the Smyth County Sheriff's Office released new images of the man accused of abducting 14-year-old Hayleigh Wilson.

Police are looking for 41-year-old Benjamin Shook - a convicted sex offender. They say he lured Wilson away from her Tennessee home more than two weeks ago.

Investigators hope these new images will lead to his arrest.

Witnesses reported seeing Wilson, of Surgoinsville, Tennessee, in the company of Shook in Sugar Grove, Virginia, June 24.

Wilson is white with brown hair and hazel eyes, and wears glasses. She stands approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Shook is a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, and wears glasses. He stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds. Shook has a scar on his left leg and multiple tattoos on his arms, legs and chest. He may not be wearing eyeglasses at this time.
