Chance for scattered showers and storms continue

We had a lot of haze around on Wednesday (compliments of not only our air mass, but also because of some smoke from wildfires in Canada), but the instability was held in check for a change. That may change though over the next couple days.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with passing showers developingā€¦lows in the mid-to-upper 60s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and stormsā€¦highs around 80.

The chance for scattered showers and storms will continue Thursday night into Friday. Friday also looks mainly cloudy with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s. Hit-or-miss t-showers are still in the forecast heading into the holiday weekend. The best chances for rain both days will be in the afternoon and evening. Both days also look to see more clouds than sunshine. Temperatures will be below normal with highs near 80 on Saturday and the low-to-mid 80s on Sunday.

Monday through Wednesday of next week will be partly to mostly cloudy (more sun in the morning, more clouds in the afternoon) with pop-up PM t-showers still possible. I think the best chance to see these will be Monday and Wednesday, with lesser chances on Tuesday. Temperatures will top out in the middle 80s on Monday, the mid-to-upper 80s on Tuesday, and the lower 80s on Wednesday.
