Seay and Haver Oil Company in Dillwyn is among the shops that were targeted. General manager Harrison Johnson says 75 stickers were stolen during a break-in earlier this month.

Lt. Billy Mays with the Nelson County Sheriff's Office says the stolen stickers are showing up in northeastern Virginia. He says the stickers are selling on the street for between $50 and $100 each.

Mays says law enforcement agencies in central Virginia are combining resources to investigate the thefts.
