Touring children's theater performs at West End Center

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Over the summer break students at the West End Center are getting VIP access to Mill Mountain Theatre's children's show, "Rootabaga."

For the second week, actors took this stage Monday afternoon for another group of kids.

The new partnership between the West End Center and Mill Mountain Theatre is bringing the arts directly to the children.

Those working with the production say they too are getting something in return.

"It is the most heartwarming thing, I don't think I've ever felt so good about something. It's just so satisfying to see all of them so sucked into what's going on, The characters and the show, It's the most heartwarming thing I think I've ever felt," explained Abigail Grubb, "Rootabaga" Production Manager.

The "Rootabaga" cast will put on a total of four performances.
