Round Town: Music and Art

(WSLS 10) - Great music returns to Salem for the Blue Ridge Music Festival. This two day event features names like Brad Paisley, Charlie Daniels Band and "The Voice" winner Craig Wayne Boyd. The music begins both Saturday and Sunday at noon. One day tickets start at $69.

The 611 is coming home and the Virginia Museum of Transportation is holding a celebration with events taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the museum. The locomotive is expected to roll into town between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Enjoy great food and entertainment at the Lebanese Festival. There will be music and dancing as well as activities for kids plus falafel, hummus and beef and lamb shish-kabob. The festival is Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Saint Elias Maronite Catholic Church in Roanoke.

Art lovers head to downtown Roanoke this weekend for the annual Sidewalk Art Show. You'll be able to browse through exhibits, listen to live music and stop by the beer and wine garten. The show is Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Great Roanoke River Duck Race and Family Fun Day is this weekend. It's Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Smith Park along the Roanoke River Greenway. There will be food, family activities and cash prizes for winning ducks.
