Blake Shelton helps stranded motorist

BLAKE SHELTON

ARDMORE, Okla. (NBC News) – He’s a country superstar, TV host and now a wet weather rescuer.

A man credits Blake Shelton with helping him get home safely after his truck got stuck when Tropical Storm Bill passed through Oklahoma.

It all happened Wednesday along a country road.

Roho Hartman’s truck got stuck in the mud and rising flood waters. Hartman and another man were trying to push his stalled truck up a hill. That’s when a Dodge pulled up with a handy tow rope and a familiar face.

Shelton helped him get his truck to safety and even gave Roho a ride home.

Roho was able to snap a few pictures before Shelton was off.

“My wife called me…I said you wouldn`t believe it, blake Shelton pulled me out, he`s gonna go ahead and bring me on home. I said uh, you better schlick up, we`ll be there in just a minute.” Roho said.
