(WSLS 10 )- Southwest Virginia schools did plenty of damage in the semifinal round of the spring Jubilee in the Group 1A through 4A classifications being held at Salem, Radford, and Lynchburg.

In Group 1A baseball, William Campbell advanced to the finals, where they will take on Lancaster-- a 5-4 winner over Radford in the other semifinal.  In Group 3A Baseball, Rustburg was blanked by Loudoun Valley 6-0 in 4A baseball, while Jefferson Forest advanced to the finals with a 4-3 win over Hanover. They will face Glen Allen in the title tilt.

In 1A softball, Parry McCluer outlasted Holston 11-7. They will take on Rappahannock--a 2-0 winner over Auburn--in the final.  In 2A action, Floyd County's third trip in three seasons ended in heartbreak as they fell 1-0 to Page County in 8 innings. King William eliminated Grayson County in the other half of the bracket. At the Group 3A level Brookville blasted Warhill 10-3. They will battle Abingdon in the final. In the 4A ranks, Carroll County edged Deep Creek 3-2 to move into the final against Woodgrove.

In soccer action, defending 1A Boys champion Galax blanked Northhampton 2-0, while Washington & Lee downed Radford 4-1 setting up a bigtime final collision.  In 2A Boys, Martinsville nipped Riverheads 3-2 in the second overtime. They will face George Mason in the finals. In 3A Boys action, Perennial power Blacksburg needed overtime to pull away from Lafayette 4-2. They will face Kettle Run, who ousted Christiansburg 6-1.

On the girls side, Maggie Walker clipped Radford 1-0 in the 2A semifinals. The Blacksburg girls state record win streak continues at 42 games and counting after a 2-0 win over Brentsville. They will square off against Western Albemarle in Lynchburg. The State finals wrap up Saturday evening in both Lynchburg(3A and 4A) and Radford(1A and 2A).
