ROANOKE, Va. (WSLS 10) – Citizens Against Homicide, or CAH, an organization based in San Rafael, California, is partnering with Help Save the Next Girl. CAH will run missing person profiles in its monthly newsletter.
It’s part of an effort to assist in the organizations journey to help families of the missing.
Help Save the Next Girl is a national non-profit organization formed in honor of Morgan Harrington, a 20-year-old Virginia Tech student who was abducted and murdered in 2009 in Albermarle County.
Citizens Against Homicide featured Morgan’s story entitled the “Metallica Girl” in a July 2013 Newsletter.
The organization offers the families of homicide victims support in a variety of ways, including helping them through the criminal justice system and keeping them up-to-date on pending crime legislation.
