(WSLS/Roanoke)-More familiar faces are heading to great new places next year.  At Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke Sam Boxley signs on to play lacrosse for Washington & Lee next year.

"It's just really exciting for me to be able to keep playing lacrosse for four more years. I just really like the game I've been playing since I'm eight years old and I just wasn't really ready to give it up so I'm excited to keep playing, " explains Boxley.

Jacob Trout comes out of coach Alan Fiddler's football program--he's headed to Emory and Henry for football next year, and explains how important the Patriots football program was in the process.

"Everything has really revolved around it because the coaches and staff helped out and it's just like a family basically, "says Trout.

Soccer star Charles Francillion was part of the Patriots perennial power team. He will be in goal at Bridgewater next season.

"I went and visited, talked to the coach, I really liked it.  I like the smaller environment-- like people say Academics comes first and since I'm a person I like the one-on-one interactions with the teachers so I think that's a good spot for me,"  says the Patriots star goalie.

In addition to these three, Marcus Terry will play football at Averett University next year.
