RICHMOND (WSLS 10) - The state's board of elections decided Tuesday that WinVote voting machines will be banned from polling locations in the Commonwealth until further notice. 

During a public meeting at the General Assembly, the board decided to immediately de-certify AVS WinVote voting machines based on a recently released report detailing serious security flaws with the machines.

Those same machines were in use in several southwest Virginia counties.

The board is also looking for the public's input on the matter. Anyone who could not make it to Tuesday's meeting is asked to

to voice concerns.
