LYNCHBURG (WSLS)- Police in Lynchburg are investigating the shooting of a local attorney. Officers were called to the Lynchburg River Loft apartments just before 9 p.m. Saturday night.
When they arrived to the 1000 block of Jefferson street, they found a man who had been shot. Police say that man is Joseph Sanzone, an attorney with Sanzone and Baker Law in Lynchburg.

He was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
No word on a suspect.
