BASSETT (WSLS 10) - A chance for you to support the Bassett High School marching band - they're raising money to compete in the Bands of America around the country this fall. This weekend they're holding a 'Paint and Pastry event' similar to the popular painting events held at other locations. Folks will have a chance to choose between two paintings.
There are two sessions on Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Admission costs $50. Officials say the event is one in a series of fundraisers the band will be doing as they work to take their performance to the next level in Bands of America.
