BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - The man accused of helping Jessica Ewing conceal Samantha Shrestha's body plead guilty to accessory after the fact Tuesday.Ā

Keifer Brown plead guilty to accessory after the fact for his part in enabling Ewing to conceal Shrestha's body. At Ewing's request, he retrieved the keys to Shrestha's car from Ewing's apartment and got them back to Ewing.Ā 

According to the Montogomery County Commonwealth's Attorney, Mary Pettitt, Brown never drove the car nor did he further assisted in the murder or concealing the body.

Brown was sentenced to 12 months with all but 28 days suspended. He served that time while being held without bond and will not have to serve any additional time.Ā 

Brown also completed 170 hours of community service work and cooperated with the police concerning Ewing's confession to the murder.
