LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - The Lynchburg City Council will discuss future plans Tuesday for the historic Virginian Hotel.Â
The building once housed low-income families. But the apartments closed down last year due to financial problems.Â

Now developers want to turn the building into a 115-room hotel. The $25 million project has a funding gap and developers hope the city will help finance the project.Â
They will present their plan to City Council at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.Â
