Three exercises: one mile run, 2,000 meter row and ten minutes of medicine ball cleans.

"It's hard, it's hard every single day. Every day you think you're going to get better at it and you do a little but then the workout ramps up to the next level and it's hard and I love it," said Natalie McLaughlin who keeps coming back to Crossfit AGX at Gold's Gym. "They're always pushing you to do better and more and faster and stronger. It's fun."

Fun isn't the word some would use but it is a good workout.

"The hardest part is getting through the door, getting started," said Bobby Middaugh a Crossfit Coach.

The core of this 60 minute class was three exercises proving you don't have to have a lot of fancy equipment to get a good workout.

"When you lift on 20 different machines and you do a couple reps you can get stronger but it's not the true meaning of fitness. I guess you could say America's ways are changing a little bit and we're realizing what is working the fastest," said Middaugh.

Many of Middaugh's workouts are based on time and seeing how far you can push yourself when the clock is ticking. He says you see results faster which may mean you stick with it.

"We never know how far we can go until we truly push ourselves to that threshold and then we can catch our breath go back again and push ourselves to a threshold again," said Middaugh.

Sweat, accomplishment and encouragement keeping these folks coming back.

"I don't think you could do it without your friends. You need people that you wouldn't otherwise know," said McLaughlin.

Many agree with McLaughlin and say having that accountability partner is important because you have someone to check in and ask if you're coming to a workout.
