RADFORD (WSLS 10) - Â Five puppies who were abandoned in a box by the New River are now in forever homes. Â
The five-week old boxer mixes were discovered by joggers on a boat ramp nearly three weeks ago. Â They were taken to the Radford Animal Shelter, where they remained until they returned to full health. Â

The shelter confirms that as of this week, all five have made their way into loving homes and are doing great. Â
It has not been determined who was responsible for leaving the dogs by the river. Â
