ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – Roanoke police are welcoming a new K-9 to their department this week. 

Canine Loki will be introduced to the public at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. 

The event will be held at the Roanoke Police Department’s first floor community room at 348 Campbell Avenue SW. Police say there will be a special plaque presentation and recognition for Dr. DePaco and his wife for donating canine Loki to the department. 

They said Dr. DePaco has made similar donations to departments across the country.
