(CNN) - As people return to their normal routines after the holidays, they're also returning what they didn't want for Christmas.
UPS says people are now packing up their unwanted gifts and getting ready to ship them back.

With a record number of people shopping online during the holidays, the company has labeled Tuesday, Jan. 6, as "UPS National Returns Day."
Tuesday, UPS expects consumers will ship more than 800,000 packages back to retailers.
By the end of the week, the company says it will be carrying about 4Â million return packages within the United States.
