Four area boys basketball teams advanced in Round one of the 2014 Northside Invitational tournament. Blacksburg edged Galax 55-50, Lord Botetourt sneaks past Christiansburg 75-69 in double-overtime, Northside moves past Roanoke Catholic 35-26 and William Byrd blasts Liberty 64-32. The winners are scheduled to meet Monday at 6 and 7:45 PM. The consolation bracket action begins Monday afternoon at 2:30 and 4:15.
