Roanoke family to receive keys to new Habitat for Humanity home

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – After three weeks of hard work, the WSLS 10 and Habitat for Humanity’s Home for the Holidays project is complete.

More than 140 volunteers put in over 2,500 hours of work to get the project finished on schedule.Veronica Garcia and her family will receive the keys to their new home at noon on Friday.

The family plans to move some of their belongings in to the house after the ceremony. Bigger items will be moved in on Saturday.
