Man tries to rob customer in drive thru at Collinsville Hardee's

COLLINSVILLE (WSLS 10) - The Henry County Sheriff's Office says it is currently investigating a robbery at the Hardee's on Virginia Ave.

Deputies say a man came up to another customer who had placed an order and was waiting for food at the drive thru on Tuesday. The male suspect showed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect ran away and didn't manage to take anything from the victim. 

The suspect is described as a male wearing dark color pants and jacket, and dark color gloves on his hands. He was described to have long red / brown hair hanging over his face down to his chest. Deputies say his hair could possibly be a wig. The suspect is estimated to be 5'8"- 5'10" and has an average build.
