MIDDLESEX CO. (WSLS 10) – Middlesex County authorities have charged a high school student for bringing multiple firearms, knives and rounds of ammunition on to school grounds. 

According to police, Austin Martin, 18, was arrested without incident at Middlesex High School. The K-9 unit alerted on Martin’s vehicle where the Sheriff’s Office found four loaded firearms, several knives, and more than 600 rounds of ammunition. 

Martin appeared before a magistrate judge and was released on a $1,500 bond. Authorities say more charges are pending against the student. 

Martin’s arraignment is scheduled for January 5, 2015.
