(WSLS 10) - Toys for Tots says they've had a successful year and donations are up compared to last year.
Not only have they received more toys, they've gotten a lot of money to buy toys too. The marines say this event is also about the community effort and outreach, and they've been happy because there's been more events this year and plenty of volunteers.

They will be collecting toys until Sunday and are encouraging any last minute donations.
Those toys will be handed out to the pre-approved groups next Thursday through Saturday in Salem.
