BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - Protests against racism and police brutality continued Thursday night on Virginia Tech's campus.

Around 100 students and faculty members showed up to march. That is the largest the group has been since the protests began immediately following the grand jury decision in Ferguson, Missouri.

Many came out to the protest for the first time Thursday in response to several offensive tweets the group received on Wednesday.

At the end of the march, protesters lied down on the floor of the Student Center in honor of Michael Brown.
