BLAND (WSLS) - Despite temperatures dipping down into the teens for most folks on Tuesday, that did not stop power and construction workers from getting their jobs done.
In Bland County, crews replaced power lines, cut down trees and repaired concrete along the streets. Most of these folks were hard at work from sunrise to sunset, but they say working in the cold certainly came with its challenges.

The workers are allowed to take time off when it is cold, but they say most of them just stick it out and get the job done.
