BEDFORD (WSLS) – The Bedford Community Health Foundation is planning on giving out more than $60,000 in grants to several area non-profits and schools. 

Lynchburg College will receive more than $11,000 for medical equipment to expand women’s health services.

Radford University will receive more than $10,000 for a stipend program for students from the Bedford area to do clinical rotations.

In addition, Lake Christian Ministries is receiving $9,000 for denture services.

The foundation’s board members and advisory council will give out the grants next Wednesday during a ceremony.
