It was a pressure-filled Friday night for Roanoke Catholic.
In the VISAA Division IV state semifinals, the Celtics were facing a team that had defeated them soundly one week ago in Kenston Forest. But quarterback Vincent Pyle helped his team turn the tables.

Pyle had his hand in three touchdowns as the Celtics topped the Kavaliers 42-16 to advance to the Division IV state finals this weekend vs Fuqua. Pyle completed 3 of 4 passes for 63 yards and a score. He added five carries for 51 yards and two more touchdowns. His TD runs were 11 and 37 yards, and his TD pass was a 59-yarder. The Celtics of coach Bob Price are headed to the state title game.
