RADFORD (WSLS) - In the ninth congressional district, Republican incumbent Morgan Griffith wins by a comfortable margin for a third term.
Griffith faced off against independent candidate William Carr, the same man who ran against him during the Republican primary back in 2010.

Congressman Griffith made a number of stops across southwest Virginia on election day before taking around 75 percent of the vote, but he ended the night surrounded by family, friends and supporters at the Best Western hotel in Radford.
