RADFORD (WSLS) –  Radford University leaders are discussing the future of the school’s Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The facility was originally built for the university’s Division I swim and dive teams. Those sports were eliminated at the beginning of 2014, and the pool has not received a major repair since 1987.

Now, school leaders must determine whether they will convert the facility into a recreational pool, leave it without repairs or shut the area down.

No timetable has been given for this decision.
