CHARLOTTESVILLE (WSLS) - Charlottesville police are looking into new, vital information about Jesse Matthew, the key suspect in the disappearance of missing UVa student Hannah Graham.Â
Police say they're learning more about his whereabouts between the time Graham was last seen, just before 2 a.m. September 13, 2014 and when the search began the next day.Â

Investigators are using the information to narrow the time gap and refocus their search.Â
Police haven't said what that new information is, but have said it suggests Graham is in Virginia and there's no reason to believe she ever left.Â
As we've reported, Matthew drove to Galveston, Texas before his arrest last month. The vehicle Matthew was last seen driving, his sister's blue Nissan Sentra, is still in a wrecking yard down the street from the Galveston County Sheriff's Office.Â
Police said they also found a cassette tape with "Jesus" written on the front. There is no indication that Graham was ever inside this particular vehicle. Just five days before Matthew's arrest, Charlottesville police seized another car Matthew was driving after surveillance video showed the two of them together. Police believe Graham got inside.Â
