ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY (WSLS) - Plans for a large scale renovation of the Natural Bridge Park Historic Hotel will be unveiled Wednesday morning.
The project will cost an estimated $4 million and will focus on the guest rooms.

This will be the first major overhaul of the hotel since it opened in the 1960's.
With the transition currently underway to prepare the Natural Bridge properties to become a state park, conservationist say the project was needed.
They are hopeful the changes will encourage more visitors as well as more extended stays.
The plans will be unveiled at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Public tours of the model room will start Thursday.
