People played cornhole and watched the Virginia Tech drumline.

"We were up at 5:45 this morning. We've put a lot of time and work into this just happy to see everybody happy that's the biggest thing for us and Virginia Tech is the fan experience. That's big for us," said Evan Massengill, the marketing assistant.

Organizers say "Hokie Village will be at all home games directly across Lane Stadium between Spring Road and Thompson Field.
