Her son PJ Trent was getting married next weekend but decided to move the wedding to this weekend to make sure his mom was able to see the ceremony.

About 50 close family and friends were at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital as they saw PJ tie the knot with Miranda.

"Its amazing," said PJ Trent. "I just want to thank everybody that came out, thank you it means a lot to me, to her, and my mom to my family period."

The Trents will spend their honeymoon at Peaks of Otter Lodge.
