There's a new credit union in Southwest Roanoke. The Roanoke Valley Community Credit Union is located on Brambleton Avenue.
Friday, the branch had a ribbon cutting followed by an open house. The credit union is a not-for-profit business that originally opened for employees of Roanoke City Schools but has since expanded to serve the community.
