Bedford County school board approves budget, 46 positions cut

The Bedford County School Board approved its budget on Thursday. The more than $103 million budget includes cutting 46 position. School leaders said part of the cuts in positions will be through attrition, while some teachers will lose their jobs. In addition, most Bedford County school employees will see a decrease in pay through increases in health care premiums.
