Strong storms have downed trees and caused power outages in some areas, including Pulaski County.

Appalachian Power’s website showed just over 1,000 customers without power Tuesday evening after storms moved through. Some customers in Roanoke and Marion county are also without power.

Areas near Little River Road and Lead Mine Road in Pulaski County suffered some damage and crews worked to remove debris from roads.

A tree fell on a home on Dallas Freeman Road in Hiwassee, causing some damage. No word on whether any injuries have been reported with the line of storms that moved through.
