New Washington Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden was in Richmond Thursday to tour the Bon Secours Training Center. Mayor Dwight C. Jones was on hand along with Peter J Bernard, the CEO of Bon Secours Virginia Health System. They were joined by Julious Smith Jr, the President of the Economic Development Authority.  Gruden announced that his pads practice will happen the morning, because their will be less chance of thunderstorms that cut practice short and send the fans scurrying. The Camp brought 165, 571 visitors in its first year in Richmond. Economic impact exceeded estimates by 2 million dollars for a total of 10.5 million dollars. Highlighting this year's camp, an extended visit by the New England Patriots on August 4-6th. Camp opens on Thursday July 24th.
