Atari dig unearths treasure

A treasure hunt in the New Mexico desert solved a 31 year old mystery. In the 80's, rumors circulated that millions of Aatari's "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" video game cartridges had been buried. It's actually considered the worst video game ever released. Filmmaker Zak Penn is making a movie about the mystery and organized the dig. He found the rumor was true. The "E.T." game tried to cash in on the success of the Steven Spielberg movie. It was rushed into production and the game's failure led to Atari's downfall.
