Franklin Co. Sheriff’s Office investigating juvenile death

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a juvenile death.

Investigators say it happened around 11:45 a.m. Monday.

Deputies were called to Double Oaks Lane in the Burnt Chimney community, where they found a seven-year-old boy with a gunshot wound, lying on the floor.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies got a search warrant.

So far, no charges have been filed.
