ABC confirms investigation on 202 Market for striptease performance

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control investigated a complaint about a strip tease performance happening at 202 Market in Downtown Roanoke. 

A spokesperson with ABC said an anonymous complaint came in alleging that 202 Market was hosting a group of male strippers from Las Vegas.

According to search warrants, ABC obtained all video surveillance, desktop computers, and removable hard drivers from 202. The search warrant says Agent A. Baker Goodman saw on 202 Market's Facebook page, 'TONIGHT MEN FROM LAS VEGAS WILL BE LIVE AT @202 MARKET!"

202 CHARGED IN RIVER LAKER STRIPTEASE INCIDENT

Agent Goodman says he clicked on a link that took him to a web page showing male strippers performing a striptease act at different locations across the country. He says he talked to a reliable source who confirmed strippers were at 202 on March  28th.

It is illegal in Virginia to allow any striptease act on a licensed premises.

ABC agents are reviewing the video. No charges have been filed at this time.
