An early morning cooking fire displaces a family of three in Roanoke.

It happened a little after 9:00 a.m. in the 3400 Block of Pittsfield Circle.

Roanoke Fire EMS say the fire was under control around 9:30 a.m.

Damages are estimated at $75,000.

The American Red Cross is providing the family with assistance.
