State police investigate crash on I-77 in Bland Co.

State police are investigating an accident on Interstate 77 in Bland County.

Officers tell WSLS it happened just after 7:30 p.m. near the East River Mountain Tunnel.

Investigators say a minivan with six people inside ran into a tractor trailer and then rolled into a guardrail.
 
After that, the van over-corrected and caught on fire.

Police say everyone inside the van was hurt.

The van's driver has been flown to a hospital in Kentucky for treatment.

The truck driver was not hurt.
