A ribbon cutting for the new Warrior Tech Stem Academy at Henry County's Magna Vista High School happened Monday.

The newly renovated space for Warrior Tech is the first 'New Tech Network' school in Virginia.

A hundred 9th graders are enrolled in the program.

About 16,000 square feet of space was renovated. It used by a social media center, which was relocated.

It has two 1,500 square foot learning laps that up 50 students can be in at a time.

Warrior Tech has a lounge type area, planning space, and storage space.

Project-based learning is at the heart of the new school.
