Using the Closings Code system

In order to access the phone or web-based system, you MUST have your Organization ID number AND your password. If you've previously requested an ID and password, you will receive a response to your request via mail or e-mail within 10 days.

You'll have two options to report closings or delays:

1: Use the automated phone system
Dial 540-581-1010. You will be prompted to enter your Organization ID number and then your password. You will be asked if you want to change this status. After your response, you will be asked to enter the Closing Code Status that best fits your situation. The Changes you make will take effect on air immediately.

2: Use the Web site:
Go to:
Once there, enter your Organization ID Number, and Password, and choose your Close Code Status from the dropdown menu to the right. Then click FIND. Your organization's information will appear so that you can make sure that you selected the correct code. TO MAKE THIS CHANGE FINAL, click on UPDATE STATUS. Be sure to close your browser when you're finished, to prevent unauthorized users from accessing the system.
