Elvis invades Downtown Roanoke, teams up with Salem Red Sox

Thursday marks the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death.  To commemorate the King of Rock n' Roll's music and legacy, the Salem Red Sox have dubbed Thursday night “Elvis Night” at the ball park and are giving fans the chance to get into the game for free — if they have an Elvis sighting in Downtown Roanoke.

From Noon – 1pm, Elvis and one of the Salem Red Sox mascots will be wandering in Downtown Roanoke.  The first 25 people to find them, take their picture with them, then post it to the Salem Sox facebook page will get into the game for free.

Thursday night's game starts at 7:00pm.
